MISSION
Gender as a societal issue, the bureau in cooperation and collaboration with governmental and nongovernmental organizations and the public at large, engage to enhance women’s equal participation and benefits in development endeavors; and provide capacity building and organize them in groups and associations, so that women become competent and beneficiaries in economic, social and political issues within the society.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To help women in Tigray, together with their community; participate in and benefit from the ongoing development efforts to avoid living with backwardness, poverty, ensuring good governance, and building democratic society.
